To be fair this may not be Arnie's fault. He may be disappointed at not getting his move. I think if I was earning £75k PW and had a chance to earn £200k PW I would be a bit pissed off.
This may well be Pellegrini saying to him "Look, it's a been a shit week, I know you are disappointed. Have a rest and sort yourself out"

If they had been allowed to which due to betting regulations they aren't there would have been a way out of this.. If he has gambling debts (allegedly), the Club could have said we will plonk a large wager on Arnie to score in each game, the more goals the higher the return and he could have had the winnings. His money problems solved and he works his bollocks off and we see him get goals, sorted!
